It happened last Friday night near the Bord Gais Energy Theatre as performers and crew members made their way home.
The theatre has described it as vile and appalling.
Claudia Hoareau from the Irish Network Against Racism says there’s been a sharp rise in racist incidents since the beginning of the pandemic:
"We have a lot of sympathy for the people who experienced this, you know, horrific, racist incident. One of the most important things to remember here the impacts that this stuff actually has on people. You know it can be it can be really long lasting it can be really difficult."
