The partner of a Cork man who had a brain hemorrhage while on holiday in Morocco says he's returned home and is being treated in CUH.
Jason Hood had been in a hospital in Marrakesh for a number of weeks and his partner says doctors here confirmed he suffered a stroke while there and now has brain damage.
Following an appeal on the Neil Prendeville Show, Caroline Daly says she now believes he's getting the care he needs:
"So the team up in CUH are fantastic. They really are. They're really taking care of him and he has physiotherapy and nutritionists. There is brain damage now and it's hard to know the extent of that."
