The number of millionaires in Ireland is on the up.
Over the past eight years it has more than doubled, with 12% of households worth €1 million or more.
Property prices, higher rates of employment and increases in savings were listed as some of the reasons for the jump.
The Central Bank data estimated around 223,000 households in Ireland are currently millionaires.
