There's been criticism at people who travelled to video two badly damaged houses on fire in Carrigaline last Sunday.
A large operation was launched in Upper Kilmoany as over 30 fire crew members from stations across the county battled the blaze and evacuated residents.
Speaking to the Neil Prendeville Show, Diarmuid Cogan, brother-in-law of one of the women whose home was destroyed says some people had to be moved so emergency services could get through:
"As the fire brigade were trying to get in, there were people obviously coming up for a look. People obviously not from the area having to do U-turns, getting in the way of the fire service, was not helpful. It's a small cul-de-sac. You don't go there by accident. You don't pass it. People had to move. Cars had to move. They were told to get up onto the footpath. That kind of stuff."
