Cork Penny Dinners says the cost of living crisis is now impacting every household.
The charity which dishes up hundreds of dinners for people in the city every day is calling on the Government to intervene and help people who are struggling to pay their bills.
Speaking to RedFM News, Caitriona Twomey of Cork Penny Dinners says people are finding the cost of running a household more and more challenging:
"The cost of living impacts every household now, and they just can't afford to pay all the bills, buy all the food, do what they have to do to keep the house running. And that's hard to see. And I think it's something that the Government seriously seriously have to keep on looking at and trying to change that for people."
