Cork carer at city centre protest march says she feels 'worthless and invisible' to the government

Julie Anne Cunneen and her son Liam from Upper Glanmire both live with disabilities and are attending today's protest with their autism dog Skye.

Hundreds of parents have joined today's protest march, with many saying they're being denied access to children’s disability services and are calling on the government to intervene on their behalf.

Around 200 people are making their way from Grand Parade to Patrick Street and back to Grand Parade via Oliver Plunkett Street.

Marches are also taking place outside the Dáil and in Enniscorthy Co Wexford.
