Opposition Parties Strongly Criticise Delay in Government's Housing Plan

It was due to go before cabinet next week, but it will now be delayed until the end of August or early September.

The plan will set out housing priorities out to 2030.

Social Democrats housing spokesperson, Cian O'Callaghan, is concerned there is a serious disagreement in Government over the issue:

"So it is disappointing that over a year since the government have taken office, we still don't have their plan on housing. At this stage it's clear, it's not going to happen until the end of August or beginning of September, but I do have concerns about is there disagreements in government that are leading to this."
