The mayor of Kyiv has confirmed "several explosions" have been heard in the Ukrainian capital this morning.

Witnesses claim black smoke was seen rising from a building in the city centre.

Meanwhile, Vladimir Putin's accused Ukraine of terrorism after an explosion on a bridge linking Russia to Crimea.

The Kremlin claims Kyiv's security services carried out the blast over the Kerch Strait.

Overnight shelling's destroyed more civilian buildings in the south-eastern city of Zaporizhzhia.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's called the attack "absolute evil".

"Official designation of Russia as a terrorist state is needed. Because he mentioned all levels.

"It is necessary to limit an economic contacts with any Russian subjects. You cannot be a sponsor of terrorism."
