Tributes have been paid to the man who died in a house fire in the city.
57-year-old master brewer Peter Lyall was pronounced dead following the fire at Ardcullen in Hollyhill in the early hours of yesterday morning.
A woman was also taken to hospital for treatment for non-life threatening injuries.
Speaking to the Neil Prendeville Show, Founder of the Franciscan Well brewery, Shane Long, said Peter was a wonderful person:
"He was a quiet man. He kept his own counsel. We were reminiscing about him yesterday. There were so many people he did favours for and the only people who would ever know that would be the person he did for and himself. He never looked for praise. He was just one of life's brilliant people."
