Concern expressed after spate of car theft Leeside in recent days, Cork healthcare worker the latest victim

Gardaí are appealing for information amid a spate of car robberies in recent days.

15 cars were broken into in Eltins Wood and Compass Quay in Kinsale in the early hours of Monday morning.

A white Renault van was also stolen from the area at around 4am that morning.

The latest victim, a Cork healthcare worker, woke up after a 12 hour shift to find her car had been stolen from outside her house in Curraheen.

Speaking on the Neil Prendeville Show on Cork's RedFM her partner John says they discovered her PPE equipment scattered around a nearby road and a number of cars in the area were also targeted:
