Members of the Clogheen/Kerry Pike Community Association say they are frustrated that planning applications for homes in the village are still being filed while infrastructure and services lag behind.

That's according to today' Echo.

The paper is reporting that locals have been left exasperated that many of the recommendations for the village in a 2017 District Local Area Plan have not been addressed,

They say they have no crèche facilities, no playground, no bus connection, no cycle lanes, no shop, and no connecting footpaths from one side of the village to the other.
