Two men are being questioned by Gardaí in connection with the seizure of 140-thousand euro worth of cocaine in Glanmire.
The drugs were discovered when officers from the Cork Divisional Drugs Unit and Gurranabraher District Drugs Unit stopped and searched a taxi on the M8 at Glanmire on Thursday evening, as part of Operation Tara.
The occupants of the car, two men aged in their 30s and 50s, were arrested.
The men are currently being questioned at Mayfield Garda station and the drugs seized will undergo forensic analysis.
