The Taoiseach says he intends to bring a conclusion to the Events Centre in the coming weeks.
It's been around 8 years since the sod was turned on the 6000 seat venue set to be located in the city.
Simon Harris says the situation has gone on too long and the event centre is needed in the city.
Speaking to RedFM News, Taoiseach Simon Harris says he's in discussion with colleague's about the project:
"I intend to bring a conclusion to this in the next couple of weeks, this has gone on for a very long period of time. Cork needs its Event's Centre and I've had discussions with coalition colleagues and others in relation to this."
