Olivia was training for the marathon in June 2016 when she was struck from behind by a car which failed to remain at the scene

A passer-by found her in the ditch and raised the alarm and emergency Consultant Dr Jason Van Der Velde was the first responder on the scene

Olivia went through a long rehab process but today she is running the marathon with Dr Van Der Velde - the man she says saved her life

Speaking to RedFM News, Olivia says she feels honoured to take her place in this year's marathon along with raising funds for the West Cork Rapid Response.
