Nine suspected stolen horseboxes, trailers and a diesel bowser have been seized by armed Gardaí in a city raid.
They are now appealing for the public's assistance with identifying the owners.
Gardaí from the Fermoy Detective Branch, Fermoy Regular Units, Cork North Roads Policing Unit, Mallow Detective and Drugs Units, the Armed Support Units and detectives from the Cork City Division teamed up together to search two locations in the city.
In a statement to RedFM News, Gardaí confirmed that the raids were part of an ongoing investigation into a spate of recent thefts across rural areas of North Cork.
One trailer seized during the search has already been identified by the owner as one stolen from a rural area near Fermoy.
Investigating Gardaí are now working to identify the rest of the stolen property seized during this operation.
Investigating detectives are appealing for the public's help in identifying the horseboxes, trailers and diesel bowsers so they can be returned to their owners.
