The fixtures for the new Premier League season have been revealed.

The season will kick off on Friday August 11th as Champions Manchester City begin the defence of their title away to Championship winners Burnley.

Among the other ties that weekend Luton’s first Premier League fixture will be away to Brighton, while arguably the big tie of the weekend is Chelsea’s clash with Liverpool.

The final game in that opening round will be Manchester United against Wolves on Monday August 14th.

It’s been confirmed that the mid season player break will return from January 13th to 20th, while the final round of fixtures is set for Sunday May 19th.

The opening round of fixtures:

Friday, 11 August

Burnley v Manchester City, 8pm 

Saturday, 12 August

Arsenal v Nottingham Forest 12.30

Bournemouth v West Ham 3pm

Brighton v Luton Town 3pm

Everton v Fulham 3pm

Sheffield United v Crystal Palace 3pm

Newcastle United v Aston Villa 5.30

Sunday, 13 August

Brentford v Tottenham Hotspur 2pm

Chelsea v Liverpool 4.30

Monday, 14 August

Manchester United v Wolverhampton Wanderers 8pm
