It was a busy day for a number of Cork stars on transfer deadline day. Adam Idah has completed his move to Swansea City. The former College Corinthians striker made the switch from Celtic for an undisclosed fee - the 24 year old has signed a five year deal with the Welsh side. Idah made 76 appearances for Celtic, scoring 29 goals.
Chiedoze Ogbene has joined Sheffield United on loan. The 28 year old former Cork City winger joins on a season long deal from Ipswich Town, after missing most of last season with an Achilles injury.
Alan Browne has moved to Middlesborough on a season long loan deal from Sunderland. The 30 year old former Ringmahon Rangers midfielder played 23 times for Sunderland, as they were promoted back to the Premier League.
Former Cork City star Fanco Umeh has moved from Crystal Palace to Portsmouth for a fee believed to be £500,000.
