Republic of Ireland manager Stephen Kenny says they're aiming to bounce back from Saturday's defeat to Armenia tonight.

His side take on Ukraine in the Nations League, four days on from the shock 1-nil defeat in Yerevan.

The visitors are expected to make wholesale changes after their World Cup play-off defeat to Wales on Sunday.

Kenny believes Ireland are capable of getting a positive result.

"It's a game we want to win. We have a passionate crowd here that will help.

"We want to try and win the game, we had a setback and we're disappointed with ourselves on Saturday, and we want to bounce back in the right way."

Shane Duffy meanwhile says morale is good in the squad.

Despite suffering that setback in Yerevan, Duffy says the players are determined to recover quickly.

"It wasn't our night, and we didn't get what we wanted, but we'll bounce back and we've stuck together in the camp all week.

"We're really excited, we have a really styrong squad to help each other out, and that's what we're looking to do."
