There's good news if you get the bus in North Cork.
Bus stops in Banteer, Kanturk, Millstreet and Newmarket are all getting a facelift next year, with a major new investment by the County Council and the National Transport Authority.
Kanturk/Mallow Councillor John Paul O’Shea says he's delighted:
"It is important that we improve the experience for all the users. When I say this, I mean improve the physical location of the bus stops to allow all users access to the bus when it stops, including those with mobility issues and wheelchairs. And we also need to improve the visibility of the routes and timetables which the bus stop serves, and to provide shelters for people to sit and wait for the bus to come and protect them from the Irish weather".
