There's a call for a statutory review into the case of a missing boy from north Dublin, who is now feared dead.
The search in Donabate enters its 4th day today, as questions remain over how the child’s welfare was monitored after Tusla’s involvement ended in 2020.
Children's Ombudsman Niall Muldoon, says he's 'extremely concerned' about the situation.
Caroline Strong from the Irish Association of Social Workers, says it's crucial to gather all information surrounding the case.
"We're thinking of pre-schools, we're thinking of schools, public health nursing.
"There are many other agencies that have access to and care for young children in this state, beyond Tusla, and they all form part of how we safeguard our children.
"So that's why we feel it's important that this is a statutory review".
