Some people fleeing the war in Ukraine had to sleep on the floor of the old Dublin Airport terminal building last night.

A shortage of accommodation has prompted the UN High Commissioner for Refugees to call on the Government to take swift action.

Accommodation at Gormanston Camp in Meath will open on Monday for up to 200 refugees, as the Citywest centre is full.

Luba Healy is a Ukrainian national living in Ireland, who rescued people from the conflict and brought them to Ireland.

She says there's a lot more the State can do:

"If I'm single person, little person who lives in a dream where they can find accommodation for 15 people, through friends through Irish people. So I don't think it's accommodation crisis."
