Two days of rolling strike action are planned for community and voluntary sector bodies in Galway, Mayo, Cork and Donegal.
They'll take place on September 21st and 22nd and are aimed at improving the terms and conditions of employment for health and social care professionals.
The action next month will take place in five employments and will include action by community employment supervisors.
The move was announced in a joint statement by Forsa, INMO and SIPTU trade unions.
