Level 4 measures come into effect from midnight tonight in Donegal, Cavan and Monaghan.

The Tánaiste has said it doesn't matter if Ireland went to level 26 restrictions if people are not going to stick to them.

Level 4 measures come into effect from midnight tonight in Donegal, Cavan and Monaghan.

While a level 3 plus for the rest of the country will mean no visits to people's homes except on compassionate grounds.

Tánaiste Leo Varadkar has told the Dáil it's highly important everyone buys into these new measures:
