SSE Airtricity has announced a massive price hike, with electricity bills rising by over 35 per cent and gas bills by 39 per cent.
The changes will come into effect from October 1st.
The company attributes the rise to the international energy crisis caused by the war in Ukraine.
The provider's pledged a customer support fund of up to 25 million to give assistance to customers.
