A man accused of operating a drone within a 'critical area' of Dublin Airport has been granted bail.
50-year-old Eric Brills appeared before Dublin District Court this afternoon.
Garda Enda Ledwith said Mr.Brills made no reply when he was accused of unlawfully and intentionally interfering with operations' by flying a drone close to Dublin Airport on January 24th.
The 50-year-old - with an address of Holywell Dale, Sword, County Dublin - was granted bail on condition he Doesn't fly any drones
Surrenders his passport
Provides a contact number
And resides at his address in Swords
Judge Treasa Kelly warned any breaches, would result in his bail being revoked.
The court heard, Mr Brills could face possible further charges with Gardaí awaiting instruction from the D-P-P.
He'll appear again before Dublin District Court on the 14th of April.
