A retired priest who criticised homosexuality, transgenderism and contraception during a homily in Kerry at the weekend is to be prevented from saying mass again.
Fr. Sean Sheehy told the congregation at St Mary's Church in Listowel that gay couples were sinful, adding that free contraception is 'promoting promiscuity'.
The Bishop of Kerry described the remarks as 'unchristian'.
