IBEC's calling on the government to reconsider its plans for ALL companies to have a remote working policy.
All firms will have to participate under new draft legislation that has been announced.
However IBEC says the requirement's "excessive" as many won't be able to facilitate it.
Spokesperson, Maeve McElwee, says a change's needed.
"Part of the legislation is somewhat unnecessary.
"It's also quite challenging to understand its implications where businesses where clearly its employees will not be able to work remotely."
