The Housing Minister insists 2023 is shaping up to be a good year for those looking for a home.
His comments come as the social housing income eligibility thresholds increase by €5,000 from this week.
The rise is designed to make it easier to qualify for social housing.
Minister Darragh O'Brien says positive change in housing supply is taking place:
"Things are changing. Change is taking hold. It will take some time for everyone to feel that. And we're absolutely committed and I am, as Housing Minister, to continue to drive that positive change in housing, addressing issues in Social and Affordable Housing, and obviously the number one priority being continuing to tackle those who don't have any home".
