People who take in Ukrainian refugees will see an increase to their monthly €400 allowance, under new government measures.
It's believed the payment could be doubled, while other measures include rapid build housing units.
It's part of plans discussed by the cabinet sub-committee on Ukraine last night, which met to discuss the accommodation shortage.
Tánaiste Leo Varadkar, says Ireland will not be able to promise refugees housing for a considerable amount of time.
