The Education Minister says the Back-to-school measures announced yesterday is 'not the end result'.
Minister Norma Foley says she'll be pushing to help more families in the Budget this September.
She says the waiving of school transport fees will help to alleviate pressures on families:
"One of the single biggest expenses that's identified by families is the cost of the return to school in terms of school transport, for example, that's €500, for multiple children at post primary school and I think every family is experiencing the challenges of cost of living at present and I think that €500 with welcome in the pockets of families."
