80 year old Denyse Holt failed to text her daily Wordle score to her daughters, which made them suspicious
After she failed to answer her phone, her daughter called the police to check on her.
It turns out she was being held hostage in her own home.
Thankfully the retired teacher was safe but she credits Wordle for her rescue.
