Some post offices in Cork are warning customers that they may have less to send Christmas letters and parcels to the United Kingdom than they might think.
An Post's official 'Last Postal Dates' for Christmas states that, this year, Monday, the 19th December is the last date to post to Great Britain in time for Christmas.
However, some Port Offices here are alerting customers that the Royal Mail in the UK is to strike for 3 days a week, for the next 4 weeks - meaning delays in their postal system could delay Christmas delivers.
