154 people died in the blast

Many have blamed decades of corruption for the blast on Tuesday, which is thought to have been caused by the unsafe storage of ammonium nitrate.

Around 300,000 people are unable to return home after buildings, doors and windows were damaged by the shockwave.

Officials believe it could cost upwards of 12 billion euro to repair the damage to the city.

Sky's Alex Rossi is at the scene of the disaster.
