Health inequality in Europe has worsened due to Covid-19 with vulnerable social groups disproportionally affected negatively.
That's according to a new report by Social Justice Ireland which points out that low income families are most at risk of not having their health needs met
Research and Policy Analyst with the organization Michelle Murphy says significant investment will be required to resolve the problem.
"Looking at things like a basic income, what's a minimum for services that people in Europe can expect, how are you going to guarantee access to quality housing, quality health services, training housing, and it's how member states grapple with that."
