The G7 group of wealthiest nations has agreed a price cap on Russian oil - aimed at slashing funding for Moscow's war in Ukraine.
Despite Russia's falling exports, its revenues from energy have increased because of rising wholesale prices.
The British Chancellor hopes the cap will help restrict soaring fuel costs.
