The European Court of Human Rights has issued an order to Russia to try to ensure two British men caught fighting for Ukraine aren't killed.

A hearing in the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic - which is backed by the Kremlin - sentenced Aiden Aslin and Shaun Pinner to the death penalty.

Their families insist they were contracted to the Ukrainian armed forces.
