Disney could be about to lose one of its most iconic characters due to US laws around copyrighted material.
Mickey Mouse will enter the public domain in the year 2024, as creators lose their copyright claim on an artistic work 95 years after it was created.
The cartoon character first appeared in black and white as the star of Steamboat Willie in 1928.
