A court in Ukraine's sentenced a 21-year-old Russian soldier to life in prison for killing a civilian.
Sergeant Vadim Shishimarin pleaded guilty to shooting someone in the head - but he insisted he was following orders.
It's the first war crimes trial of the conflict.
Petro Poroshenko, a former president of Ukraine, says those in the Kremlin also need to face justice:
"We are waiting then Mr. Putin would be in jail for their crimes against humanity for their war, which killed dozens and dozens, thousands of Ukrainians civilians."
