Four people were killed and at least 22 others were injured in a shooting in the capital city, Vienna.
An attacker shot dead by police has been identified as a 20-year-old dual Austrian and North Macedonian national, who'd been jailed for trying to join Islamic State in Syria.
Austrian chancellor Sebastian Kurz stressed the fight is against extremism, and not a religion.
