11 Cork players nominated for camogie All Stars

The nominations for the PWC Camogie All Star Awards have been announced.

All Ireland champions Cork lead the way with 11 nominations, they are:

1. Amy Lee
2. Amy O'Connor
3. Fiona Keating
4. Hannah Looney
5. Katrina Mackey
6. Laura Hayes
7. Laura Treacy
8. Libby Coppinger
9. Meabh Cahalane
10. Meabh Murphy
11. Saoirse McCarthy

All Ireland finalists Waterford have 9 nominations, Galway have 7, Tipperary have 6 and Kilkenny have 3.

Two Cork players have been nominated for the PWC Camogie Sneior Player of the year, Amy O'Connor and Saoirse McCarthy, while Waterford's Beth Carton is also shortlisted.

The awards ceremony will take place on November 4th.

Speaking to mark the announcement of the PwC All-Stars, Camogie Association Uachtarán Hilda Breslin said; “2023 has been an extraordinary year, showcasing exceptional talent and unwavering determination from all the players.
