A 'staycation subsidy' is being developed by the Government
The Irish Independent reports it's in a bid to boost the tourism industry in next week's July Stimulus Package.
Under the scheme people would be able to reclaim a portion of their hotel or restaurant bill.
The exact rate of the rebate and how it will be administered has not been finalised.
