The Irish Travel Agent's Association says it's important the 14 day quarantine period for people arriving into Ireland is lifted sooner rather than later.
It follows advise by the Aviation Recovery Taskforce that the measure should be relaxed by next Wednesday as the country is now behind other European Union Member States when it comes to restoring air travel.
The ITAA says 'Air Bridges', which allow travel between states that have low transmission rates, should be implemented to boost the tourism and aviation industry.
