Of eight samples analysed so far a single case has been confirmed. The National Public Health Emergency team says it's a case linked to travel to southern Africa in the past week.It comes as schools have introduced new rules today on mask wearing for all children in third class and above.Labour leader Alan Kelly has raised concerns in the Dáil about how schools will stand legally if they refuse to allow unmasked students in:

"Given that this is not, it is non statutory guidance or hazard or legislative basis if someone rocks up to the High Court and challenges this will you defend the principal who will be the person who will be taken?
