Gardai are planning a clamp down on the sale of fake Covid vaccination cerificates online.
That's according to the Irish Independent after it saw a social media account advertising the documents.
A source told the paper it's a crime under the Theft and Fraud Act, it's suspected this group are based in Dublin.
The Instagram account advertising those certs was private, meaning the owner must give permission before connecting.
Gardaí are reminding people that it's easier to get a vaccine than to buy a fake Covid vaccine cert.
