Competition and Consumer Protection Commission concerned over rising prices in hairdressing industry

Hairdresser groups have been contacted by a watchdog over the dangers of price fixing following the Covid-19 pandemic.

The Competition and Consumer Protection Commission says it has been concerned with industry's raising prices as they re-open.

It's warning trade groups to be aware of what is allowed when setting prices.
