Bus and train drivers will not be making people wear face coverings on public transport

The National Bus and Rail Union says it's not the drivers job to ensure mandatory mask wearing.

It comes as the National Transport Authority says the number wearing face coverings varies widely between 40% and 98%.

Dermot O'Leary says it's up to the operators to enforce the rule:
