54 year old Helen Jones of Cahergal Avenue, Mayfield and her then boyfriend 43 year old Keith O'Hara formally of the same address were found guilty of murdering Paul Jones at his home on Bandon Road on the 4th of September 2019.
The 55 year old was found dead in his home three days after his death and post-mortem found he had stabbed 25 times.
The jury at Cork Central Criminal Court took three hours and 45 minutes to deliver a unanimous verdict.
The pair were also convicted of trespassing to commit serious harm and will be sentenced tomorrow.
