A vintage/classic car and bike meet is set to take place in Mallow this weekend in aid of Mallow Daycare Centre.
The first of it’s kind to hit the north Cork town, Millstreet Vintage Club will host the event at the GAA Complex from 10.30am - 2.30pm.
All are welcome, whether you are a car owner or simply a spectator, it’s guaranteed to be a day of fun for the whole family. From Porsches, TVRs, Jaguars, Honda Gold Wings to Ford Capris and Cortinas, there will be something there for everyone! Tractor owners are also welcome.
On March 13th 2000, the Day Care Centre was opened by Mary McAleese and has been a crucial service for elderly people in Mallow since, providing high quality nursing care, while improving the health and quality of life of the individuals, families and carers that they serve.
A number of spot prizes will also be up for grabs on the day which have been donated by local sponsors.
