The vacant property refurbishment grant has been expanded to the city and remote rural areas of Cork.
The expansion means that all of Cork is now covered by the scheme.
People can avail of grants of €30,000 to refurbish vacant properties and €50,000 for derelict properties.
The Government says the scheme has been popular with over 420 applications made to local authorities across the country.
