A man and a woman have been arrested following a drugs seizure in Cork last night.
As part Operation Tara, officers from the Midleton District Crime Unit and Midleton Drugs Unit stopped and searched a vehicle a in the Carrigtwohill area at around 7.30 last night and found around 20 kilograms of suspected cannabis herb.
The drugs will now be sent to be analysed, and are estimated to be worth around €400,000.
A man and a woman, both aged in their 30's, were arrested at the scene and are being questioned at Cobh Garda station.
Investigations are ongoing.
